Heat Wave Performance Vise Z87+ Safety Glasses
The new Performance Vise Z87+ Safety Glasses are a complete evolution. Heat Wave overhauled their legacy Vise® frame, making them Z87+ out of the box. They feature new performance arms and an integrated Quick-Latch side-shield system. In the comfort department, you will find rubberized touch points throughout the frame, ensuring the frames stay on your face. The cherry on top of the performance line is a lens-matched side shield that melds form and function together for a flat-out look that is stunning and unique to the performance line.
Performance line features include 2mm-thick lenses that meet ANSI Z87.1 impact requirements, plus an all-new extended-length arm, specifically designed for our standard frame range, with new beveled emblems. The all-new Quick-Latch side-shield system provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted side light, meeting ANSI Z87+ standards with side shields installed. Rubberized Hytrel® inserts are strategically placed in the arms and, notably, now in the nose bridge, for a more comfortable fit that grips and stays in place.
New Quick-Latch Side Shields
A patented Quick-Latch side-shield system functions just as well as it looks and provides lateral protection from debris and unwanted peripheral light. When installed, it meets ANSI Z87+ standards.
The new side shields can be easily removed and installed with the simple click of an integrated lever, making swaps effortless and more intuitive than ever.
Installed side shields feature a translucent base, maintaining peripheral vision with a unique lens-matched coating.

These adaptive lenses adjust from clear to dark tint in under 30 seconds, depending on your environment. The variable tint range of these lenses adjusts from a clear 75% to a 17% VLT, all in under 30 seconds.
While these will NOT get as dark as our standard black lenses, photochromic lenses provide ideal clarity indoors and as dark as possible outdoors, maximizing the wearer's utility of this eyewear.
